Weik

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Roxuh handles information in Weik, an iPhone alarm app that rings until you complete a challenge. The short version: there is no account, your alarms and progress stay on your device, and the only thing that leaves it is an anonymous crash report.

Effective September 18, 2026

Terms of Use

No account, and what stays on your device

Weik does not require or offer a Roxuh account. Your alarms (times, labels, repeat days, ringtone and challenge choices), in-progress challenge state such as the math questions, the password phrase and game boards, and your practice history are stored locally on your iPhone in the app’s own storage.

Weik shares only the time and label of enabled alarms with its Home Screen and Lock Screen widget through an app group on the same device. Nothing about your alarms is uploaded to Roxuh or any third party.

Your device’s backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple. Those backups are controlled through your Apple account and device settings, not by Roxuh.

Alarm permission

Weik asks iOS for permission to schedule alarms so it can ring on the Lock Screen, including in silent mode. This permission is handled entirely by iOS; Roxuh does not receive any information from it. You can change it at any time in Settings.

When an alarm rings and you press Stop, iOS runs a small action inside Weik that schedules the same alarm again a few seconds later. This happens on your device and involves no network activity.

Crash and error reports

To find and fix bugs, Weik sends crash reports and reports of failed alarm operations to PostHog, hosted in the European Union. A report contains the app and iOS version numbers, the name of the alarm operation that failed (for example “alarm_schedule”), a numeric error code, and native stack addresses needed to read a crash. Error messages, file paths, source context, alarm labels, challenge content and any other user data are stripped before upload.

Each report is sent with a freshly generated random identifier, so reports cannot be linked to each other, to you, or to your device. Automatic screen tracking, tap tracking, session replay, surveys, feature flags, person profiles and location enrichment are all disabled. Sending a report over the internet does expose your IP address to PostHog while the request is being received.

Purchases and Weik Pro

Apple processes in-app purchases. RevenueCat verifies purchases, restores access and manages the Pro subscription status. This involves an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier, purchase and transaction information, subscription status and technical information about the device and app version. Roxuh does not receive your name, email address or payment card details from Apple or RevenueCat.

Weik keeps no separate record of whether you have paid. Pro status comes from RevenueCat’s on-device cache and, when the app is online, from RevenueCat’s service. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting Weik does not cancel a subscription.

What Weik does not do

Weik does not use advertising SDKs, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not collect your location, contacts, health data, photos or microphone audio, and does not collect usage analytics about how you use the app. There are no third-party login providers.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to run the app on your device, verify Pro purchases, fix crashes and respond to support requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

We share the limited service information described above with Apple, RevenueCat and PostHog for their respective functions. We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect legal rights and service security.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is subject to applicable data protection requirements and the agreements governing their services.

Retention and deletion

Alarms and challenge progress remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its data. Offloading the app may preserve its data. Copies in device backups are managed through your backup settings.

Crash reports and purchase records may remain with our service providers after the app is deleted, for as long as needed to operate the service, address support requests and meet legal obligations. Crash reports carry no identifier that lets us find yours; purchase records are tied to an anonymous identifier that Apple and RevenueCat may need to retain for transaction history.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a data protection authority. Email [email protected] to make a request.

Where applicable, we process information to provide requested features and purchases, pursue legitimate interests in keeping the app working and secure, comply with legal obligations, or with consent where required.

Children

Weik is rated for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because it collects no personal information beyond the anonymous reports described above, the same protections apply to every user.

Security and policy updates

We rely on the security features of iOS and of our service providers to help protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device protected and review its backup settings.

We may update this policy as Weik changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
